Bienvenidos to Encuentro XII, Lasallians    

 

The theme of Encuentro XII, Strength in Diversity: confronting global challenges through higher education, is appropriate for us to take this opportunity to join forces for the challenges that face our educational communities and the world.

The program is designed to provoke thought and reflection, share ideas and best practices and begin to co create our collaborative goals for the coming years.  Thanks to your generous response to come to Mexico and to contribute to this Encuentro, this will certainly mark a promising future for IALU and its members.

There will be a welcome cocktail at the Hotel Galerias Plaza Reforma on Monday evening to meet and greet your colleagues.  Registration will be available at the conference hotels on Monday afternoon and on Tuesday morning at the La Salle Campus.  Shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from the hotels throughout the Encuentro.  Those staying elsewhere will have transportation from the La Salle campus for the program on Wednesday.

A cultural program is available for those accompanying the conference participants. In addition to visiting sites around Mexico City, it includes transportation to the La Salle campus for the inauguration of the Wellness Center and the concert on Tuesday and transportation to the Basilica of Guadalupe for Mass and the Gala dinner on Wednesday evening.  Be sure to register.
